The objective of this online course is to discuss the role and challenges of physiotherapists in mental health.

 

Speaker: Marcia Aquino

Marcia Aquino, PT, is a Physiotherapist at Douglas Mental Health University Institute, specializing in Oncology and Bioethics, as well as experience with patients in palliative care, dementia and geriatric psychiatry. Marcia is a stage supervisor in Physiotherapy at Douglas Mental Health University Institute, CIUSSS Ouest de lîle de Montreal, QC, Canada. The department of Physiotherapy at Douglas has just one physiotherapist.
